Observation on the skills evaluation of the Rope Technician

Due to the specificity of the profession of a Rope Technician, the evaluation of a professional worker's skills depends on:

 

1. The evaluation of the proficiency level of fondamental knowledge and technical skills.

2. The ability to use one’s knowledge in a common work situation.

3. Professional behaviour. This method evaluates if the good practices have been taken into account (prudent behaviour and positioning, faculty to anticipate and adapt, good practice rules, etc.) 

4. Uniqueness (mobility, faculty to anticipate and adapt, handle hazards).

These different methods are not contradictory but complementary.
